The Lakeshore Executive
Tiering
The Lakeshore Soccer League offers two levels of competition for its Under-12 and Under-15 boys and girls divisions. This bifurcation allows our athletes, from all over Grey and Bruce Counties, to select the skill level of soccer most suited to their interests.
Tier 2, at both Under-12 and Under-15, offers the same level of competitive soccer that the Lakeshore League has been known for since its inception. In most cases, clubs will offer a Tier 2 team as standard for all players to participate in.
Tier 1, at both Under-12 and Under-15, has been implemented for those players who are interested in expanding their competitive playing experience and increasing the skill level of play. This allows players a more competitive environment without requiring the additional travel time and cost associated with playing on a rep team. Clubs that enter teams into Tier 1 will likely have player evaluations in order to select the most suitable players for their teams.
All players, whether in the Tier 1 or Tier 2 groupings, will have a 12-to-14 week season and participate in an optional mid-season tournament as well as a year-end championship.
